Buenas tardes, partes interesadas de la comunidad comercial y equipo de CBP,

Tenga en cuenta que existe un «Plan potencial» para bloquear el tráfico comercial entrante y saliente en el lado de México (Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas) que conduce al World Trade Bridge el sábado 19 de febrero de 2022. Los manifestantes quieren llamar la atención del presidente de México. – AMLO durante su visita a Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas este sábado.

Si ocurre la protesta y se bloquea el tráfico comercial, CBP OFO estará listo para procesar el tráfico comercial desviado en el Puente de Solidaridad con Colombia y los puertos de entrada circundantes (Puerto de Roma, Eagle Pass, Rio Grande, Hidalgo/Pharr, Progreso, Del Rio, y Brownsville).

El personal de LFO CBP continuará trabajando y apoyando a la comunidad comercial para garantizar el flujo comercial. Los mantendré informados sobre cualquier desarrollo adicional.

Como siempre, comuníquese con el Personal de Gestión Comercial y Portuaria de APD correspondiente para abordar cualquier problema o inquietud.

Good afternoon Trade Community Stakeholders and CBP Team,

Please be advised that there is a “Potential Plan” to block inbound and outbound commercial traffic on Mexico side (Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas) leading to World Trade Bridge on Saturday February 19, 2022. The protesters want to get the attention of President of Mexico – AMLO during his visit to Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas this Saturday.

If the protest occurs and commercial traffic is blocked, CBP OFO will be ready to process diverted commercial traffic at the Colombia Solidarity Bridge and surrounding ports of entry (Port of Roma, Eagle Pass, Rio Grande, Hidalgo/Pharr, Progreso, Del Rio, and Brownsville).

LFO CBP Personnel will continue to work and support the trade community to ensure the flow of trade. I will keep you posted on any further developments.
